Alison Minaglia
Alison is Managing Director, New York Office and a partner with Marcom Advantage, LLC. She has created and personally executed successful PR programs for more than 40 technology clients which have captured the interest of investors, customers, partners and key influencers in each industry.
For more than 18 years, Alison Minaglia has been a hands-on professional in the technology and business-to-business media and analyst relations arena. Her efforts have accelerated sales for each client by effectively positioning and promoting corporate goals, company experts, and new product and service offerings to key media and industry analysts who influence the top purchasing decision makers in each industry.
Clients have ranged from emerging startups to divisions of Fortune 500, in a variety of IT and telecom industry segments including wireless LANs, networking, security, enterprise software, portable computing, PC hardware and software, IT services, outsourcing, semiconductors, and R&D; and in B-to-B areas as biotech, e-commerce, professional services, human resources, financial services, management consulting, venture capital and C-level executive recruitment. Programs have also resulted in Alison’s in-depth familiarity with the interests of media and analyst interests in such key technology target vertical markets in the U.S. as financial services, retail, education, healthcare and government.
Alison was Managing Supervisor of the New York Technology Practice at international PR conglomerate Fleishman-Hillard, where she created and led the firm’s first U.S. Industry Analyst Relations team and was positioned to clients as the offices National Media Relations expert based on established relationships and proven success with the nation’s top business and technology’s top business and technology influencers. Before that, Alison was responsible for business and technology accounts as Account Supervisor and then Senior Account Supervisor in the Technology and Healthcare division at Ruder-Finn. Her career in PR began in 1985 with Assistant Account Executive and then Account Executive roles at HWH Enterprises in NY.
Alison has dedicated her career to managing and representing the experts, products and services of more than 40 companies, ranging from startups to Fortune 500. Alison has a BA in Marketing and Communications from University of Delaware. Prior to working in PR, Alison was a broadcast news journalist.
